The evolution was, to us, quite natural, but to outsiders, a pretty far stretch. In its inception, Novelty Manufacturing molded such “Novelty” items as kid-related metal badges and cookie cutters. Then came metal cemetery vases and metal flower boxes, which not only provided great success for the company, but catapulted us into an ever-increasing $38 billion dollar a year market.

Satisfying customer needs – from everyday basic to classic high-end – is what we do. Harvesting garden containers such as flower boxes, patio planters, brackets and a complete line of lawn and garden accessories makes us not only the leader in full line containers, but also the sole manufacturer in the industry who can provide a product style with a reasonable price point for every income level. No one else can make that claim.

Maintaining such a reputation comes with an enduring and time-tested commitment to keeping the Novelty name tried and true.

Novelty now celebrates 90 banner years – dropping the badges and cutters – and breaking ground into what has now garnered us the position as experts in container design, functionality and product styling.

Green Initiative

At Novelty, we believe in sustaining the environment. Most of our products are made of recyclable polymers and alloys. We encourage consumers to recycle by labeling items with recycle codes. Then we practice what we preach by using pre- and post-consumer recycled materials in some of our best selling items.

We believe in best practices. At Novelty, we strive to conserve resources and reduce energy consumption every day, every step of the way. That’s why we recycle plastics, steel, aluminum and corrugated materials. Even our manufacturing operation is heated with recycled petroleum products. Additionally our lighting has been reduced to the lowest consumption level possible. We retain an objective energy consultant to help advise and keep us on track.
