Plant Helper: Perk Up Your Planters
Color Contrast Combinations:
Red and Yellow
Blue and Orange
Purple and Gold
Any bright color with white
For a blast of color: Fill planter in approximately a 50% mix of two contrasting colors
Recipe:
Tall orange marigolds for the center
Blue ageratum to fill out the sides
Trailing blue lobelia in the front border
For showy color: Use 75% or more of one color accented with the
remaining contrasting color. The lower the percentage of the second color,
the more subtle the contrast.
Recipe:
Deep red geraniums with a border of sunny yellow moss rose
